Program Infomation
Description• Objective: To develop environmental engineering professionals who are well versed in the principles and practical skills of water resource systems, wastewater treatment, and air pollution control, familiar with Chinese culture and fluent in cross-cultural communication.
• A joint educational program by Xiamen University of Technology and the University of Regina(U of R) in Canada (top eight in integrated academics of Canada ), accredited by the Chinese Ministry of Education (MOE).
• Courses taught in English by Canadian and Chinese instructors, and core courses conducted in Xiamen by U of R faculty.
• Students can choose either to complete the four-year program in XMUT to acquire the XMUT degree, or to study for the first two years at XMUT and the next two years at U of R, (subject to their meeting their admission requirements for international students), to gain a U of R degree upon graduation.
